Rob founded the firm in 2002 with the goal of building one of the leading executive search boutiques in the country. Previously Rob served as the Managing Partner of Crist Partners leading it through its successful sale to Korn Ferry in 1999, and he began his career in executive search with Russell Reynolds Associates in 1990.

Most recently, Rob has stepped out of the role as the President & CEO to focus on leading the firm’s most senior level engagements and to launch and integrate TillmanCarlson’s executive coaching and assessment services. Rob completed his certification as an executive coach at The Hudson Institute, and he is certified in the Hogan Assessments. He also completed an undergraduate degree in accounting at the University of Illinois.

Kelly joined the firm in 2003 and has played an instrumental role in establishing TillmanCarlson as one of the leading executive search boutiques in the country. Previously, Kelly served as an Executive Director with Russell Reynolds Associates where she focused on building the firm’s highly successful technology practice.

Most recently, Kelly has stepped up into the role as President & CEO to continue her focus on recruiting outstanding leaders while ensuring TillmanCarlson delivers the highest quality service and results in the market. Kelly completed an undergraduate degree at Benedictine University and an MBA at DePaul University, and she is certified in the Hogan Assessments.

Katie joined the firm in 2008 and has continued to grow as a key member of the team. She began as an Analyst and now serves as a Client Services Director working closely with the firm’s partners, client contacts and candidates. In addition to playing a key role in communicating effectively and managing critically important aspects of the search process, Katie also leads the firm’s operations. Prior to joining TillmanCarlson, she attended Michigan State University graduating with a degree in communications.

Stacy first joined the firm as an Executive Assistant and today serves as a Client Services Director working closely with the firm’s client contacts and candidates. In addition to ensuring communication is handled professionally and effectively, Stacy works across the firm on a wide variety of projects and is always the first to jump in. Prior to joining TillmanCarlson, she served in sales at a Chicago-based start-up after graduating from Purdue University with a degree in sales management.

Kelly joined TillmanCarlson as a Research Director and plays a key leadership role in all aspects of the firm’s knowledge management activities. Having previously spent seven years in executive search with Spencer Stuart and another boutique firm, Kelly has a passion for the business and for the critically important role research plays. Prior to entering search, she started her career in a local Chicago library after completing a masters degree in library science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a degree in english and journalism at the University of Minnesota.

Catherine joined TillmanCarlson in 2016 as a research analyst where she focuses on identifying top tier talent and managing projects. She began her career with the firm as an intern, where she quickly learned the ropes of the business. Catherine is passionate about the power of research, and its ability to drive a search to completion. She also leads the firm’s social media marketing campaigns as well as office communications. Catherine is a graduate of The University of Iowa and holds a degree in Communications.

Mikelle recently joined TillmanCarlson as an Associate. She enjoys the full search process and is experienced in working with a variety of clients and candidates. Mikelle began her career in search with a Phoenix-based technology firm where she consistently produced the highest grossing business portfolio in a highly competitive and fast-paced contingency firm. She is a graduate from the University of Notre Dame – Mendoza College of Business with a degree in marketing. Beyond academics, Mikelle received various honors while competing as a 4-year Division I athlete on the varsity swim team.
